Alchemist's Log - Date: March 3rd/2023

Another week has passed, and production is continuing!

The draft for episode 4 has been written and I've gone over it with my dear friend/proofreader Anne.

The episodes just keep getting longer and longer: the draft for the previous episode was around 5,100 words, and this one is just over that at 6,113 words. It means more work when it comes to recording and editing, but I'm not as fussed with that as I got to end the episode at a place that I'm happy with, instead of forcing things.

I've also begun editing the first episode of the companion podcast to Adam & The Alchemist, which is going to be called "The Alchemist's Lab". In it, I'm going to be interviewing people from all backgrounds to explore the question "what is creativity?". I'm aiming to have an episode up every couple of weeks or so, but we shall see. As this year goes, more and more things keep appearing to fill up my schedule, so it may be a bit less frequent than bi-weekly.

The goal is to have it be its own separate podcast once A&TA has come to an end, but that wont be for a while yet. There's a whole lot more of Adam's story to tell.

Depending on how busy the weekend is, I'm planning on beginning to draft the script for the next episode, as well as episode 5, but again, we shall see how things turn out.

That's about all for now. Thanks for checking in, and I'll see you next week!

See you then :)

Will
